Yeah, I work at a library. No, I’m not biased at all. Take these two examples:
1) Galena Public Library hosted a book signing for me on Monday. First they lured people in with chocolate and Chex Mix and flavored popcorn. Then they charmed me with their kindness. Several grandmas came in and bought books for their granddaughters. And I got a picture with Adria, who is a freshman at Galena (just like Ivy in my story!).
2) Elizabeth Township Library, my home library, hosted a book signing for me today. I knew everyone who came in! It’s a nice feeling to greet people by name. And they all had such great questions about my writing process. Really enjoyed those conversations! Many thanks to Kim, Annette, Jerry, Brenda, Velda, Betty, Rob, Frank, and Karen! Here’s a picture of Karen—she’s been to two of my book signings and bought multiple books. She and her husband Glen are two of my biggest supporters!
Thanks again to libraries and the patrons who visit them! All the support means so much to me!
Last book signing of the year will be this Saturday, the 22nd, at Morrison Public Library from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Maybe I’ll see you there??
